Origins of Music , Literacy and Numeracy
I will not say much about this wonderful lecture by George Steiner except , having heard him speak before, I love the way he establishes the case for silence ( and need for humility ) in our understanding of the universe in which we find ourselves.

Strangely his adoration of the horizons of science ( 3) aren't as incredible as the far far distant horizons of music mathematics and beauty .
